Great Place to Eat and Drink Great place to have a few afternoon drinks, both in the summer when you can in the large well maintained beer garden, or in the winter when you can sit in the snug area. Food is also fantastic, would highly recommend the Sunday Lunch.

Best lockdown takeaway had Great menus every week I've noticed. Had food during Thai week. All absolutely class. Waited 10 mins after pick up time and put desserts in which was unnecessary but sign of the service. During wait the woman on front desk couldn't be more helpful and nice

Stopped over one night on business trip It was just like home, cosy atmosphere. Very comfortable room. I would recommend a stop over here any time of the year. The building has come a very long way since the days of H & C.

Sunday Lunch Had our first "delivered" Sunday Lunch from The Laird's House today. Good food, beautifully cooked, absolutely delicious. Clean plates all around.
Very good food My family came here for dinner the night after my daughters wedding. The food was very good. We all said it was good. We had 6 small plates as starters, Fish and Chips, Steak, Chicken and Lamb main courses and cheese cake and apple crumble pudding. The apple crumble was very good indeed. . It was a very cold night and the dining room was not warm. There was a drought along the floor.

Sunday lunch Lovely Sunday lunch today. Meal was well presented and very tasty. Plenty of fresh veg and lovely roasties. Del is a super chef. The deserts are to die for. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the owners are really pleasant and friendly and every member of staff are super efficient and polite. Great asset to bedlington. Pay a visit you won't be disappointed.

Stunningly delicious This review is written fresh after my wife and I were simply blown away by what this little gem in Bedlington served up tonight. The soup was so well seasoned and full of flavour and my wife’s Prawn Taco was also excellent. The main course of fillet steak was quite simply the best main course I’ve had in a long while. The caramelised onion and potato accompaniment were out of this world. The steak was cooked perfectly to my medium liking and so full of flavour. The entire main course was an absolute delight. This dish wouldn’t be out of place in a city centre establishment charging far more. My wife’s pork dish sounded equally as satisfying. And now for the dessert! The Creme Brûlée was quite possibly the most delicious and satisfying pudding I’ve ever had. It was a very generous portion and well worth the money. I can’t finish without mention of the very friendly and attentive staff. Covid friendly procedures were in evidence and abundance which was reassuring. Bravo to front of house all the way back to the kitchen. A faultless meal and service. We’ll be back very soon. The bar has been set very high here.
Sunday Dinner Absolutely fabulous dinner in such a beautiful building full of old character! 3 course meal for under £20 is an absolute steal! Decor is great, open fire, clean modern outside space with dog friendly areas. Great vegetarian/vegan selections. Will 100% be back to try the small plates on an evening.
A peaceful Oasis What a wonderful addition to the Northumberland town of Bedlington, the time and clear effort taken to decorate and furnish this venue is surpassed by the atmosphere and friendliness of the owners and staff. My wife and I have visited the Lairds as it's locally known since it opened and it continues to grow from strength to strength, especially now they have Del the Chef and his strong team dishing up a fantastic and varied menu.
Lovely Sunday lunch Gorgeous Sunday lunch. Mash, turnip, yorkshire, roasties, vegan roast, parsnips, carrot, cabbage....cooked to perfection. Curried parsnip soup to start and baked cheesecake to finish. Love this place, stylish and friendly.
